I am

An artist and an animal
Rational and banal
See through and thick
Atoms and bricks

Laughable and undecided
Unemployed and laughable
Tied down and tied up
hung and hanged
hanged by the hung, hard
constitution

Tropical industrialism
saturated calcium
Trans fatted metropolitan
stone, stone, stone
crumbled
tank toppled

WMD
Hair salons & action movies
Medium mediated by bigger medias
Manufactured cattle
by Corporate Livestock (Inc.)

A deep hole (hope),
rounded & shameless
a vacuum abhorred
Torn up, torn down
a rough draft,
In- grown nails
A personified television
A hypnotized hypnotist

"Tanks toppled" is fantastic and triumphant imagery.

The concept of a hypnotized hypnotist is so crazy. This was great.

I freakin' loved this. You're a master of stream of consciousness and wordplay m'dear!

"Atoms and bricks" - different, but the same. Same functions on different scales. One constitutes the other. This made the first stanza in and of itself brilliant.

The second stanza - I love how you play up the indecisiveness by tossing back and forth with the same words in different ways. Especially "hanged by the hung" - bahahaha that made me laugh!

"saturated calcium" - it sounds so good. The rhythm of it, the sound of it, the way it kind of but not really makes sense.

"Medium mediated by bigger medias" - Jordano, I love how you can always find a social voice even in a seemingly meaningless mess of words.

"A deep hole (hope)," - OMG I LOVE THE PARENTHESIS. Again you come back to "not quite the same, and yet the same." Wonderful wordplay!

"A vaccuum abhorred" - I never realized until now how much the word "abhorred" sounds like a vaccuum. Thank you!

This is just awesome. I love love the sound of it and its cleverness!

I really like this Jordano,
I'm not sure how i feel about the repetition of the word laughable in the second stanza. that was my only problam with it though.
well done!

Wonderful!!! :D I absolutely love the listing off of things - it becomes a chant of contemporary culture, almost as if you're putting yourself in a self-induced hypnosis, completely pulled into the repetition and occasional rhyme to keep with the raw rhythm. By the time it got to the fifth stanza at "A deep hole (hope)", I felt as though I had dug myself down into it by reading - and then ending on "A hypnotized hypnotist" was just absolutely perfect. Also, the line "A personified television" is genius. Actually "An artist and an animal" is fucking genius. Holy shit I love this poem. God I could see this becoming famous.

Also. I have really missed Heart Rape.
